An open Innovation Challenge workshop on Smart City, organised jointly by the Garwood Centre for Corporate Innovation, University of California and Andhra University College of Engineering, was launched at YVS Murthy Auditorium on Jan 3.
Executive Director of Garwood Centre Prof Solomon Darwin said: “Open innovation plays an important role in the establishment of Smart Cities in India.
Under the Open Innovation Challenges, two groups were formed to develop business as well as engineering and technology models to help build Smart Cities. Students from various institutions across the world had presented their innovative Smart City models.
